
Urizen is first mentioned in V's first chapter, where shortly after Dante, Trish, and Lady arrive with him in the depths of the Qliphoth, they hear an ominous roar so powerful it shakes the very ground under their feet, with V realizing Urizen had 'awoken', and his plan to attack the Demon King as he rested had failed.
